It is a matter of pride for us to state that Telangana has maintained its track record of attracting hundreds of thousands of new foreign tourists in the recent years, with 2017 alone witnessing a massive 2.47 lakh foreign visitors to the city of Hyderabad. The spike in overall numbers is very significant, with an increase of about 85,000 visitors compared to 2016, and nearly 1,25,000 visitors compared to the year 2015.

According to a survey by the Airports Council International (ACI), Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Airport has been rated as the world number one in the 5-15 million passengers per annum category. The fact that Hyderabad airport has won this prestigious award for the fourth time in the last 10 years in this specific category, is a matter of pride for the state of Telangana.
